HOW IT WORKS? Put simply, by disabling the starter at the flip of a switch.
To arm the kill switch, simply toggle your new 'factory fog light' switch (wink wink), then sleep better at night knowing that your Toyota is safe and secure. 2. Choose Your Kit Level, each with their own features and level of security:
- Level 1: Our most popular kit! This is your basic no frills kit with a Primary Kill on the ignition that controls power to the starter, using a discreet OE-style switch.
- Level 2: Building on the LVL1 kit, we added a Secondary Kill to the harness ground, effectively creating a two-stage kill switch. The Secondary switch is small and easy to hide, so you now have two separate and totally different looking switches.
- Level 3: A whole different animal... Automated Kill. Our LVL3 kit is a self-arming kill switch so you never accidentally forget to engage it! Utilizing a completely unique harness equipped with two relays and one momentary switch, this system automatically turns the 'factory fog light' switch off (aka armed) when you turn the ignition off. Then, when you return to the vehicle, simply tap the switch to disarm the Automated Kill and restore power to the starter, and you are good to go.
