These upgraded steering clevis bolts are designed for vehicles running aftermarket clevis-style steering systems, where increased load and stress exceed the limitations of factory-style hardware.

Applications such as larger tire sizes, extended track width, and aggressive off-road use significantly increase steering loads. In these conditions, standard clevis bolts can become a failure point.

Common failure modes of factory-style hardware include:

• Material deformation or thread damage due to lower-strength stainless construction
• Insufficient thread engagement within the steering rack

These upgraded bolts are engineered to address both issues.

• Extends approximately 3/4” past the clevis face
• Compared to approximately 1/2” on typical factory-style bolts

INSTALLATION NOTES

• Ensure steering rack threads are clean and undamaged prior to installation
• Install using appropriate hand tools; avoid impact tools
• Apply threadlocker as required based on application
• Torque to manufacturer-recommended specifications for your steering setup

If existing rack threads show signs of damage, repair is required prior to installation.
