OCD's new rear recovery point is simple and effective. This recovery point will fit a wide range of Toyota's to act as a rear recovery point. They'll with work with your standard 3/4" or 7/8" hard shackle, and even have a chamfered hole making them soft shackle safe. Mounting is simple, and these will bolt directly to your factory bolt holes. Mounting on the driver side is recommended due to factory exhaust being on the passenger side from the factory.

I have been working to increase my departure angle. As part of that I wanted to remove my hitch, which, without a high clearance bumper, is my only recovery point in the rear. This product allowed me to remove the hitch and because I did an exhaust chop just beyond the rear axle, I can use two of these with one on each side and have the option for a bridle set up. The rounded edge eyelet is definitely appreciated to facilitate a soft shackle recovery.

It came in pretty fast! Looks really sturdy and it's quite thicker than I thought, I bought some 3/4 D rings for it and it looks good!

A perfect solution for my 2023 TRDPro. I bought two and they are great quality and easy to install. The hard part was removing the existing cargo tie down. No torque value was provided for the new bolts so I went with 40 ft-lbs.

I'm glad I ran across these recovery points. They are perfect if you want to retain the factory bumpers and just need a recovery/tow solution that's not so prominent. That being said, they protrude down just far enough that straps (and the D-rings you use) should barely clear the bumper. They don't protrude too far to impact approach angle- D-rings included!
Never field-tested (thankfully) but they're solid when paired with the grade-10 bolts. They are twice as beefy as oem tow points and just as beefy (if not stronger) than the oem recovery hook.
At this price, it's an easy decision.
