The Extreme Duty Transmission Cooler kit is the ULTIMATE transmission cooling upgrade for your off-road / tow rig. While this kit is mainly intended for Toyota trucks, it can be made to work on virtually any auto-trans truck within reason.
This kit utilizes Derale's top-of-the-line 10000 Series unit:
- Stacked plate cooling- more surface area than tube & fin units
- Built in turbulators- agitates fluid for maximum heat transfer
- Sturdy furnace brazed all aluminum construction
- Rated for 250psi and 37,000 BTUs per hour
- 19 row core with 12oz added capacity
- Dimensions- 13" x 7.3" x 2"
What does all of this mean? You are DOUBLING your cooling performance over a standard Hayden-style cooler of the same size.
