This Extreme Duty Adapter kit accepts the massive Derale 10000 Series cooler, instead of the standard Hayden coolers that are used in the vehicle-specific kits. The Derale is 2 inches thick with 19 rows, and is rated for 37k BTUs. This results in 1.85x cooling capacity over the standard Hayden cooler that comes with the vehicle-specific kits!
Cooler must be purchased separately, but we've made it easy for you. There are several compatible Derale kits (13403, 13413, 51978 etc) but some are much less ideal than others. We recommend and sell the Derale 13403 kit, which conveniently includes all the correct fittings, clamps, and hose you will need for install. To add a Derale 13403 kit to your order, TAP HERE.
This is a DIY Adapter kit, and fitment is not guaranteed for every setup. While the height and width of the 'extreme duty' Derale cooler is similar to the standard Hayden cooler, it is much thicker. Minor trimming, bending, or relocating may be needed during install. Review all product info and consider your setup before ordering! If you want a simple install process with guaranteed fitment, order one of our standard vehicle-specific kits.
