What is a Motor Mount Perch?

A motor mount is responsible for connecting your motor to your frame. The factory motor mount perches on 1st gen Tacoma’s and 3rd gen 4Runner's are prone to breaking. A broken motor mount perch is a serious issue that can cause irreversible drive train damage and, in extreme cases, strand you!

KPO Motor Mount Plate Usage

KPO's Motor Mount Perch Plates are a great solution for those who have experienced the dreaded broken motor mount perch issue or want to bullet proof their rig! Our kit is designed to weld to the original frame and replace the weak factory motor mount perch plates. Our plates are cut out of 3/16" steel. You can be assured our kit is tight fitting, tested, and long lasting. Plates can also be used in DIY motor mount solutions such as SAS frame relocations or fully boxed motor mount perches.
