These lower control arms provide a huge upgrade in strength, firewall clearance, and ground clearance for your 4th or 5th Gen 4Runner, 2nd or 3rd Gen Tacoma, GX470/460, and FJ Cruiser. By moving the lower balljoint forward 3/4", you gain caster for straight line stability and extra firewall clearance for bigger tires (trimming required on stock front bumpers).
Built from 3/16” lasercut & CNC bent steel with internal ribs for extra strength. Stock soft rubber bushings are replaced with high performance polyurethane bushings for bind free articulation. Ships powdercoated gunmetal grey, with Mevotech balljoints installed. Balljoints are equipped with zero fittings for easy serviceability.
NOTE: Fits 6 lug trucks only. 0 offset or negative offset wheels are required to eliminate any potential rubbing of the tire to the control arm at full lock, and stock steering stops need to be removed from knuckle side to maintain stock turning radius.
