Sherpa Equipment Company

Located on the front range of Colorado, Sherpa EC was founded by a couple of adventure seeking videographers who were always on the move with lots of gear. Being 3rd Gen 4Runner owners, space was always an issue and there was very little support for the platform... So they designed a rack that met their needs, and a system that was still adaptable, lightweight and strong.

Fast forward a decade or so, and today Sherpa offers kits for hundreds of vehicle models. Their team members are no stranger to the outdoors, and they all share the same passion for their hobbies and the vehicles that get them there. This passion carries over into every aspect of the business, from customer service to product design. On the weekends it’s not uncommon to find the team away on a trip together, or putting in late night hours working on the team race car.

As fellow 3G4R enthusiasts, we have known these guys long before Sherpa or Opt Offroad existed, back when we were all just kids messing around on YouTube. So it feels pretty awesome to support them on our platform, and help connect the community to the best dang racks on the market.
