3G4R Rear Bumper Nut Bracket

Our 3rd Gen 4Runners are equipped with captive nut brackets that go inside the rear frames to bolt on the factory tow hitch. Due to the location of these brackets, they are very susceptible to rust and cross-threading. The real problem is that virtually all aftermarket rear bumpers utilize the captive nut bracket to mount to the frame, and these brackets can be difficult to find in stock through Toyota.

Vidal Metal Worx has stepped in with these factory-style captive nut brackets, to make the job easy! There are 4 factory mounting holes, 2 of which have welded nuts and 2 towards the front of the vehicle that use a bracket similar to this one.

Made out of 11 gauge steel and grade 8 hardware. These come in raw metal or coated in black Steel-It.
