What It Does

  • Corrects interference between the track bar and rear sway-bar links on lifted KDSS trucks if you introduce extended travel.
    Relocates the KDSS sway-bar pivot points for better clearance and geometry.

  • Designed specifically for KDSS-equipped 4Runner and GX460 platforms.

  • If you want to run a 285 7017 tire in the spare OEM location

Why You Need It

  • When you add extended-travel shocks to the rear of a KDSS-equipped rig, the track bar can hit the sway-bar links and stop droop early.

  • These drop spacers move the sway-bar’s axis down just enough to clear everything, so your shocks can use all their travel.

  • If you’ve ever noticed your rear end hanging up or “stopping short” when you flex the truck, this is the fix.

Do You Need Them?

If you’re not sure, do this quick check:

  1. Chock your front wheels.

  2. Jack up the rear by the hitch until the tires are off the ground.

  3. Crawl underneath and inspect the track bar and sway-bar links.

    • If you see or feel them touching, your suspension is binding — you need these spacers.

    • If there’s no contact, you’re good without them.

Install Notes

  • Bolt-on install using supplied hardware.

  • Torque to 70 - 75 ft-lbs and re-check after first few drives.
